| China announces 2007 quota for tungsten, antimony, tin, silver, silicon carbide and
magnesia
BEIJING (Asian Metal) 31 Oct 06 ¨C Ministry of Commerce of the People¡¯s Republic of China
announced the new industrial quotas of tungsten and its products, antimony and its products, tin
and its products, silver, silicon carbide and magnesia for 2007.
According to the announcement, the export quota of tungsten and its products will reduce from
15,800t in 2006 to 15,400t in 2007. The export quota of antimony and its products will reduce
from 63,700t to 61,800t. Tin and its products will cut down from 53,000t to 37,000t. Meanwhile,
the export quota of silicon carbide will reduce from 223,000t to 218,000t, and magnesia will
reduce from 136,000t to 132,700t.
